Roles &amp; Responsibilities
What You Will Do
<ul>
<li>Oversee and manage financial and accounting operations for the Company including maintaining records of expenditures and reconciling journey entries.</li>
<li>Close, prepare and publish monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements including general ledger and cash flow statements.</li>
<li>Accounts receivable: compute, prepare and send invoices or purchase orders and follow up to ensure there are no payment discrepancies.</li>
<li>Accounts payable: pay invoices by verifying transaction information, schedule and prepare disbursements after obtaining authorization of payment.</li>
<li>Set up and perform banking transactions including bank wires and transfers.</li>
<li>Optimize current financial account processes in coordination with our CFO.</li>
<li>Drive compliance and quality in all finance related matters.</li>

C++ Software Engineer

Verity is seeking an experienced Cloud Backend Engineer to shape and contribute to our efforts in building cloud-based solutions to manage our industrial drone system, extending its functionalities, and preparing for large-scale commercialization. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous design, development, test, and maintenance of our serverless cloud backend. Depending on your profile, the focus could be on the underlying functionality and frameworks needed to connect drones to the cloud, or on the client-facing dashboard while working closely with our solution teams to integrate with the systems of our clients.

<li>Proven experience in the development and design of scalable, performant, robust and fault-tolerant micro-service architectures</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of AWS services (such as Lambdas, DynamoDB, S3, IoT Core, etc.)</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (C++, Python, Java, etc.)</li>
<li>Proven experience in NoSQL data modeling</li>
<li>Strong commitment to high coding and design/architecture standards and best practices</li>
<li>Practical experience delivering in agile environments</li>
<li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken</li>
</ul>
