Job description

At Traverz, we have created the ultimate innovation in RetailTech using smart UX and modern AI. We’ve developed a new Product Search paradigm based on Conversational Recommendation, which massively improves the consumer search experience on e-commerce and marketplace platforms compared to the more traditional Filter-based search that stems from the early days of the internet.

The Traverz product is a B2B(2C) "plug-in" licensed to e-commerce platforms and marketplaces. This not only improves the overall experience of the consumer, but importantly has a strongly positive impact on conversion, upsell potential, and customer loyalty. We are currently in the pilot phase with exciting initial clients.

The Traverz product foundations are largely in place – and both consumers and platforms are responding very positively. But we are tackling something quite big that is transformational for the sector, and we are acutely aware that the Traverz experience is genuinely disruptive on several fronts. As such, getting the end-to-end customer experience exactly right is critical to ensuring a smooth transition and large-scale adoption.

For this reason, Traverz is looking for an experienced and ambitious User Experience Lead / Architect to join the HQ in Zurich or work remote on a full time basis. In this role, you will take the Traverz user experience to a new level, from a smooth onboarding through to an exciting and trusted search journey for first-timers and enthusiasts alike, whilst being highly conscious of the client’s needs and keeping in mind our B2B2C vision.

As the User Experience Lead / Architect you will:

  • Ideate and design product improvements in line with the Traverz vision and user/client needs.

  • Design and execute user testing.
  • Take part in (pilot) client discussions and implementations.
  • Develop and co-ordinate the product plan together with the founders and the technical team.

Job requirements

This is you:

  • 5+ years in a similar role in a B2B or B2B2C tech environment.
  • Proven experience in leading B2C innovation sold to B2B clients.
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Outgoing, energetic and dynamic personality.
  • You have a strategic mindset and are hands-on at the same time.
  • Experience with e-commerce and marketplaces is a plus.
  • Experience with AI products, particularly around search and chat is a plus.
