What You Will Be Doing
Working closely with the Head of Engineering you will help build the Founders Factory tech platform which is designed to support all new Incubator companies in our London office.

Job Description
This role is for a full-time, full-stack developer to help us grow and reach the next level! You will have the opportunity to lead the engineering team, as we build out several new products. This role is in our driver experience team. ev.energy has multiple user types, one being the person who is using and charging the EV. Other user types include business users, working in the ecosystem around EV charging, for example at a energy utility or a charger manufacturer.
The driver team focus on improving the experience of the drivers, designing and developing new features, making performance improvements and making the system more reliable. The team is cross-functional, including backend, frontend, design and product folks. As a backend engineer on the team, you will be working on our Django codebase, developing APIs that the driver interface, a react-native mobile app, can consume. You will also be developing the systems to ingest data from cars and energy systems, schedule the charging and apply that schedule back to those vehicles.

<h4>YOUR TASKS</h4>

<li>As a Ruby on Rails developer (Backend/Frontend/Fullstack) you will support our development team in the conception and further development of the innovative IoE platform in the field of renewable energy</li>
<li>Collaboration with a motivated team from the areas of product management, UI/UX design, data science and application development</li>
<li>Independent analysis of problem areas, conception of solutions and joint implementation within your Scrum team</li>
</ul>
<h4>YOUR PROFILE – MUST HAVES</h4>
<ul>
<li>At least one year of experience in developing web applications with Ruby on Rails</li>
<li>Fluent in German or/and English</li>
<li>Interest in continuous personal and professional development e.g. learning new technologies and programming languages</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and a high degree of personal responsibility</li>
<li>Your local time zone is maximum 2 hours away from CET</li>
