At Ubiq we are shaping the future of mobility. One of the ways in which we do this is through our international community of StreetCrowd users who, using our technology, complete tasks for shared mobility providers (e.g. relocating vehicles, charging, etc.), and in this way help people living in cities gain access to safe, clean and reliable shared mobility options.

To develop our StreetCrowd communities in Austria & Germany further and deliver a smooth user experience, we are looking for a German-speaking Community Manager.

Your role...

  • Building up an active & engaged community of StreetCrowd users in Germany & Austria

  • Organising online and offline community events

  • Being the link between the users and our internal development team to ensure a smooth user experience with our service

  • Creating and running different campaigns to acquire, retain and motivate users

  • Working with social media, editing the website, creating newsletters

  • Solving & troubleshooting user requests via email (in German & English)

  • Verifying & confirming user activities and processing user compensation

  • Working with the team (stand-ups, plannings, resolving issues) to build a strong & connected community of users across different geographies

  • Testing our app regularly and using customer/user feedback (as well as your own) to suggest improvements

What we are looking for...

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally for an online product

  • Strong interest and ideally also experience in building communities (online or offline)

  • Excellent knowledge of German (native-speaker level) and very good knowledge of English

  • Strong understanding of the cultural context of the Austrian & German markets

  • Marketing, social media, video editing and/or design experience is an advantage

  • Reliable, organised, analytical and detail-oriented team player

  • Proactive & independent hands-on approach

  • Tech-savvy person who is not afraid to dig into our tools, test our app continuously and communicate potential improvements

  • Work permit for Austria required
