About the role:

As our Solutions Manager you’ll actively source, engage and onboard new clients, via a multitude of inbound and outbound channels. You’ll work closely with the wider Retail teams to deliver ambitious growth targets across various client sectors.

Our Solutions Managers gain hands-on experience in handling high-growth clients whilst developing networks and relationships with insurers, partners and underwriters. This role comes with great career progression potential, and the line management of a junior new business representative.  

About you:

  • Previous experience focussing on new business generation

  • Demonstrable knowledge working with commercial insurance products

  • Good understanding of the insurance placement ‘cycle’

  • Deep interest in technology, professional and/or financial sectors

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to listen to and analyse customer needs

  • Confident in creating and delivering presentations

  • People management skills and experience; you’re able to understand what makes people tick and are able to get the best out of them

  • Highly organised, meticulous and the ability to multitask

  • High levels of curiosity and a natural ‘get up and go’ attitude is vital



  • To actively source, engage and onboard new clients, via a multitude of inbound and outbound channels.

  • Obtain and provide insurance solutions for clients, with the support of our broking teams

  • Management of new clients’ expectations and requests

  • Line management of a junior new business executive

  • Develop relationships with external partners to build and maintain distribution channels and referral models.

  • Champion your specific knowledge and support our marketing team to create valuable content to attract potential clients

  • Maintain CRM systems to a high standard, to assist with providing clear management information and sales forecasting.
