Why we need you

We are growing and building quickly and need skilled, creative, and excellent team members to help us achieve the ambitious goals we’ve set. You are uniquely skilled and experienced and we value the insight and expertise you can offer to drive us forward and achieve success.

We are looking for a Software Engineering (SWE) Manager who has the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to major projects and, at the same time, manage a team of engineers. You not only optimize your own code, but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs. As a SWE Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy, and help develop your team. SWE Managers work all across the company, in areas such as distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, security and compliance, data compression, user interface design, information retrieval, artificial intelligence, machine learning; the list goes on and is growing every day. Operating with scale and speed, our team is just getting started - and as a manager you:

  • Own and advocate for underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure - essential building blocks for a sound software system, with excellent, safe, and a coherent user experience, which also drives the pace of innovation for our software engineering team

  • Look across IndyKite’s product suite to build central solutions, break down technical barriers, and strengthen existing systems

  • Manage a team of software engineers, including task planning, and code reviews

  • Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment

  • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects

  • Contribute technically to projects

  • Work closely with the product team to ensure IndyKite is building the best products

What you will need to succeed

  • 10+ years of professional experience with software development and leading software engineers
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Hands-on programming experience in one of the following: Go, C++, Java, or Python
  • Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience and knowledge in the identity space is a plus

Why you should choose us

  • Authentic: Join a fun, ambitious, and talented team with deep market experience and credentials in scaling software co’s from 0-100m$ ARR revenues
  • Impact: Own your future – participate in the success of developing a deep-tech game changer
  • Inclusivity: We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees

  • Experience: expect some travel, expect some weirdness, expect some fun, expect it all. We don’t set limits, and neither should you ☺

We’re a bunch of unique, normal and somewhat eccentric people (just the average amount), looking for some more team members. “No one is you, and that is your power,” we’re looking for people who bring their best, see the best in others and like to make things better.
