Job description

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution to offer a broad range of investment products in their apps. Our view is backed by Europe's largest tech VCs (Earlybird, Notion Capital, ABN Ventures, Partech, HV Capital) and by renowned fintech entrepreneurs (including Maximilian Tayenthal, founder of N26, and Felix Haas, founder of IDnow).

Our vision is to create a world in which any asset can be owned and traded digitally by anyone, anywhere, and we're looking for ambitious pioneers to join us in this journey. Today, we count 30+ talented people from 15 different countries. We’re based in Berlin, Germany.

Your mission:

Bridge the gap between the Product and Sales teams, fine-tuning our brand and market positioning. You will establish the product marketing strategy and through your in-depth knowledge of the industry and its trends, own the creation of the go-to-market plan, as well as its implementation.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

    Product marketing strategy:

    • Establish the product marketing strategy and go-to-market plan in line with our business goals

    Market understanding:

    • Develop in-depth knowledge of the market and its trends through market and competition analysis

    • Develop a clear understanding of customer pains and the Upvest product benefits

    Market positioning:

    • Fine-tuning and managing the category creation

    • Establish a strong, tangible, and defendable product value proposition, product positioning, and product messaging

    Brand development

    • Co-developed with agency or branding counterpart

    • Cohesive and appealing visual and verbal brand expression

    • Transformation of positioning and branding on all client-/ and talent-facing touchpoints

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience Experience in a product marketing role (or related)

  • Demonstrated success in creating and launching a differentiated market positioning for SaaS companies (B2B fintech is a strong plus)

  • Experience in a start-up/scale-up, knowing how to build marketing teams from scratch

  • Analytical acumen and strong quantitative skills essential for market trends, customer and product feature analysis

  • KPI and outcome-driven approach to all working initiatives

  • Experience and understanding of capital markets is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
