Senior Brand and UI Designer (f/m/d)
Series Eight is seeking a full-time Senior Brand and UI Designer to join our remote team of brand and web designers, illustrators, animators, front-end developers, project managers and founders.
We’re a close-knit, talented team of 20, working together to create brands, websites and e-commerce stores. Working mostly to a UK timezone, we’re looking for someone residing either in the UK or Europe.
Does this sound like you?
You have at least four years of branding and web experience with a first class portfolio of design projects, working with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
You’re passionate about solving problems and creating value through design.
You’re a self starter and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You have a natural initiative to lead your projects, and you’re equally a team player with a positive and collaborative spirit.
You’re a clear communicator, with an honest and considerate approach.
You’re incredibly detail oriented.
You stay up to date by learning about the latest design tools, trends and methodologies.
Skills in prototyping / motion graphics is a bonus.
What you’ll do:
You’ll create and evolve brand identity systems and visual languages, collaborating with project teams to ensure a consistent and compelling brand narrative.
You’ll help mentor our brand designers so they can develop their craft.
For web and eCommerce projects, with the operational support of our project managers, you’ll take insights and data uncovered from the discovery phase and translate them into compelling creative strategies. You’ll produce key wireframes, UI design, interaction design and prototyping. You’ll also work with our developers to ensure the intended execution of the experience.
You’ll discuss ideas and concepts with colleagues and clients and confidently present your work.
You’ll facilitate and take part in brand and web discovery workshops.
