The Finance & Data Analytics team at Flaviar provides strategic and analytical horsepower for all company monetary decision-making. We identify and sort key questions, problems and opportunities using sound business acumen. We use our uniquely positioned purview of the numbers to spot opportunities to expand the business. We provide guidance on achieving both short-term and multi-year visions.


 

The Senior Analyst will serve as the key FP&A partner to several operational teams, conducting both quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, resulting in compelling recommendations for strategic leadership.


 

This is a US or EU based role with an opportunity to work from our NYC or Ljubljana office or/and remotely.


 

Responsibilities:



    
  • Be the primary point of contact for several operational teams, owning their end-to-end financial planning and solving for multiple priorities (growth, efficiency, quality);
  • 

  • Develop and maintain P&L forecasting models for your business partners, as well as dashboards for tracking business performance;
  • 

  • Establish the FP&A reporting processes for your business partners with systematic variance analysis, reforecasting and scenario planning;
  • 

  • Build comprehensive models to support business cases that synthesize data with critical thinking to provide leadership with insights, actionable recommendations and opportunities;
  • 

  • Work with senior leadership in the coordination and completion of planning cycles, including annual budgeting, OKR setting, P&L reforecasting and long-term vision planning;
  • 

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.

Requirements:



    
  • Bachelor’s degree and more than 3+ years of experience in finance or accounting, corporate strategy, consulting, banking, private equity, or similar analytically rigorous roles.
  • 

  • A good understanding of operations and finance for an eCommerce, advertising or other tech business. 
  • 

  • Strong proficiency in the use of Excel and other data analytics tools (experience in using automation tools, coding in R and/or Python, and SQL skills are a plus).
  • 

  • Experience developing financial reports and metrics.
  • 

  • Interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
  • 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • 

  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication.
  • 

  • Experience with data visualization.
  • 

  • Experience in using automation tools (Zapier, Make, Power Automate …), SQL, programming using R and/or Python are a plus.
