Location UK / EU remote
Reports to CEO
Direct Reports None
Internal: CEO, CTO + other team members (roughly 50% of time)
External: All our customers (new and existing) (roughly 50% of time)
Including customer roles: Directors, Managers and Leads
From customer departments: Operations, Engineering, Quality, Digitalisation, Maintenance (and others)
Project Manager who will own the successful delivery and ongoing support of all our existing and future customers.
The right candidate will ensure:
- High level of engagement and satisfaction of all customer stakeholders
- New deployments are delivered on time and within budget
- All customer stakeholders support the renewal of annual contracts
This is a rare opportunity for candidates with traditional manufacturing experience to transition into the startup world and gain valuable new experience, whilst leveraging their existing skills.
This is a UK-based remote located role that will include regular travel to customer sites across Europe.
The role is available to start immediately and equity may be offered to the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who has successfully delivered numerous continuous improvement and digitalisation projects in a factory or manufacturing setting, and who is excited to use this experience to ensure the successful delivery of advanced AI process control technologies with our manufacturing customers.
The right candidate must be quick to understand new technical information, be an excellent communicator and be very quick to learn new digital tools.
Excellent skills in the following areas are required:
- Project management and attention to detail
- Communication with stakeholders from Director, Manager, Lead and operator levels, who work in factory environments across a wide range of European countries.
- Manufacturing continuous improvement and digitalisation including both Lean and Six Sigma.
Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a similar discipline
- Experience working in manufacturing and factory settings
- Fluent using Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint or similar (we use Google Suite)
- Driven, self-motivated and independent worker, with the openness and ability to quickly learn new digital tools
- Excellent communicator. Able to empathise and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. Able to quickly understand and disseminate complex topics in simple language.
- Full UK or EU driving licence
The following are not essential, but will be helpful and strongly desirable for this role:
- Spanish and/or German language proficiency (advanced or above)
Support and Personal Development
You will be reporting to, and working in close collaboration with our CEO.
You will receive plenty of opportunities for personal growth and development in this role, including mentorship from our CEO and technical team and, if successful with your primary responsibilities, will have opportunities to take ownership of a wider remit.
You will be the primary interface between our technical team and our customers, ensuring successful deployments. Based on the experience you gain working with our customers you will provide important input to our product development.
We are a small, high-performing team and - like all our team members - you will be given a high level of autonomy, ownership and flexibility, whilst also receiving support and guidance when needed.
Our team is primarily UK-based and working remotely. We typically meet up as a team once per month, where we focus on strategy, deep-dive topics and building social relationships together. Typically we meet in London, however in the future we may meet in other UK locations. We generally expect the whole team to attend these events. You may be required to meet up more frequently, as work demands.
