To deliver on the requirements of a growing number of existing clients and to develop our products further, we are looking for a Product Owner to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to include or develop into strategic Product Management as well, so if you feel you can cover both, feel free to apply.

Your role...

  • Taking an active part in shaping the product and taking ownership of it

  • Accompanying the development team throughout the entire software development process (using Scrum methodology)

  • Connecting the business and technical requirements

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring requirements make it to the development backlog in a clear & prioritised order

  • Writing user stories for new features & requirements, incl. acceptance criteria

  • Making sure that relevant & prioritizes stories are scheduled in the sprint and executed on in a timely manner

  • Defining UX together with input from different stakeholders

  • Exploring & evaluating new product and feature ideas & prioritising them

  • Launching new product features and testing their performance

  • Developing & making the product roadmap ready for execution

  • Strategic product management responsibilities (optional):

  • Position the product in the competitive environment & ecosystem

  • Develop the business case for the product

  • Represent Product to clients, potential partners and investors

What we are looking for...

You are an excellent communicator who can balance requirements from different stakeholders. You are a person of action who can inspire others along the way towards a goal. The more skills you can cover from this list, the better:

  • Solid technical know-how through experience and/or studies

  • Work experience as a Product Owner in the field of technology (ideally in a B2B setting)

  • Strategic Product Management experience is a big plus

  • Broad experience in software development team(s) using agile methodology

  • Track record in successfully launching products or developing existing products

  • Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)

  • Good feeling for UX/ UI

  • SaaS background and urban mobility product experience are a plus

  • Experience in agile project management

  • Interest in working in a fast- paced environment

  • Interest in innovation, the mobility market and shared mobility services

  • Austrian/ EU work permit required

* Our team is based in Vienna and we work in the office and from home, particularly in these special times. That mix works best for us. Due to the communicative nature of this job and the fact that most of the team is on-site in Vienna, fully remote candidates are not preferred.
