Who we're looking for

A senior creative & brand marketer to elevate TaxScouts' marketing and make the dull world of tax something people sit up and take notice of. You will do this by leading on both the development of the strategy and its practical application across all creative campaigns and communications.

You understand the theory and principles behind building a strong brand through marketing but also know how to actually make it happen. You are also someone with the confidence and experience to guide the business through the different steps we need to take to strengthen in this area rather than needing to be told what to do.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all our marketing has the best possible chance of cutting through the noise, engaging consumers, and delivering against its goals through applying creativity to everything we do

  • Lead on the development of our brand strategy, messaging, visual guidelines and tone of voice

  • Development of new creative ideas and concepts

  • Production of all creative and communications across all marketing channels (website, email, social, TV, outdoor, print, PR, and more), managing creative managers, designers and copywriters

  • Understand requirements, develop briefs and manage the pipeline of requests working with the wider marketing team

 

What you will bring

  • Creativity! An ability to develop powerful creative ideas and to guide and support production teams through to the strongest executions of ideas

  • Experience of developing brand strategy and seeing it through to creative execution across a range of marketing channels

  • A strong point of view and understanding of best practice on copy, design and creative approach across key marketing channels

  • Customer-focus with an ability to use insights and data to drive better creative decisions

  • Clear reasoning and communication: you should be able to articulate your ideas and rationale in a clear and concise manner

  • You can collaborate with people in different roles adapting your style where relevant to gain buy-in

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and able to solve problems. We are a fast-growing business where there often is no existing process in place. You will be able to work with uncertainty to define a path forward.

  • Experience activating a brand strategy through PR, content & partnerships an advantage

  • Experience working in a high-growth start up environment a bonus
