FairMoney is looking for a high calibre Chief Financial Officer, who has:

  • Solid finance capabilities and expertise from a best-in-class finance setup.
  • Consumer Financing Experience: good understanding of Consumer Financing products and knowledge of credit risk management.
  • Fund Raising / Capital Market Experience: Solid track record in fundraising through equity and/or debt. Good experience in engaging with investors, creditors or investment bankers.
  • Experience in Asset Liability Management: Well-developed skill-set and experience in a sophisticated ALM environment to drive best-in-class practice and development.
  • Leadership skills: Change management experience with a proven history of successfully building effective and high performing finance teams at the “entity” level. Culturally diverse leadership style, ideally gained through experience from a dynamic organization that operates in multiple markets.
  • Stakeholder Management skills: Experienced in developing trusted relationships and influencing senior business stakeholders, at the executive level and board level.

  • Able to build trustful relationships with senior stakeholders through clear communication, and act as a business partner to the CEO and other key stakeholders within the industry and external partners.
  • Good at building and developing the finance function in the region to ensure that the required capabilities are in place.
  • Ability to understand business dynamics, while being a strategic and analytical decision-maker with a gifted solutions-finder mindset and a visionary.
  • Possessing sound judgment with a disciplined approach, strong professional standards and having a focus on driving efficiencies.
  • Having in-depth knowledge of consumer financing and risk management practices.

Recruitment Process

  • A screening interview with one of the members of the Talent Acquisition team ~30 minutes.
  • An interview with Laurin Hainy (CEO - FairMoney) followed by two members of the board ~60-90 minutes.
  • An interview with key stakeholders of the Finance team like Yaw Mante (Head of Finance), Patryk Kalisz (Head of Controlling and Reporting) ~ 60-90 minutes.
